It's been a long, hard, enjoyable, frustrating, exciting, mind opening year. I have met AWESOME new friends that I would not have found any other way but through photography. I've learned a lot. Done stupid things. Made mistakes. Became a better person through it all.
I'm going to start going back through my favorite sessions and posting pictures from them so you can see the story play out:)
Starting with Kourtney + Shaun....Kourtney and I met through Ashley Nacke ....(who is also a gem by the way and if you haven't already you need to check her out). We both helped her shoot at a wedding and we instantly clicked. We hadn't hung out again though since that wedding...So when I saw her facebook post about wanting someone to photograph her and Shaun at the county fair I jumped on the opportunity to see her and hang out again!
Needless to say I think we made some magic here! <3 <3
This next image was probably my most epic one. If you only had a single clue what went into making this image you'd be even more impressed ! I first and foremost...am SCARED TO DEATH OF HEIGHTS....Second of all we didn't really know what we were doing!... I had to ride in a separate seat than them...well you have to have at least 2 people in a seat at a time...soooo needless to say I was sitting with one of the guys who work the ferris wheel....the WHOLE TIME he's telling me not to freak out because i'm probably 6 different shades of colors from being so high up! FREAK OUT...then..............We realized WE DID IT WRONG lol! I should've been in the seat behind them not in front! So everytime we started going around....they were blocked! so I couldn't get the shot...Soooo the guy riding with me yells down to the other guy running the thing...and says "STOP 11 and 12 at the very top" EEEEEEEEEEEK So I had about 10 seconds of me at the top freaking out standing up leaning out to get this shot....Buuuut....It was worth it! <3 <3 adventures lol!
